Beautiful Feet continues to offer a course for: Certification in Christian Dance. This is an online course and can be started at any time. In addition to the Certification in Christian Dance Course, the participant is also encouraged to take a weekly technique class. This can be a ballet, modern or praise dance class with BeautifulFeet or a private lesson with Donna Martelli, director. For those who live outside of Indianapolis, the Certification in Christian Dance course may be supplemented with a weekly technique class with a local dance studio. Monthly progress reports from the instructor are welcome but not mandatory. The Certification In Christian Dance Course has 3 levels, Basic, Intermediate and Advanced and these must be taken in order. At the end of all three sessions, the successful participant will be awarded the Certificate of Certification in Christian Dance from Beautiful Feet . Costs as follows: Basic Level – 15 lessons – Includes DVD, “Instruments of Praise” - $250.00 Topics covered: scriptural background, history, types of Christian Dance, diet and physiology, garments, makeup, Biblical study of colors and their meanings, presentation, choreography, prophetic dance and more. There is an exam at the end of the Levels: Intermediate Level – 8 lessons – Includes DVD “Instruments of Grace”- $150.00 This level covers teaching and includes composing dance classes and teaching them. Advanced Level – 12 lessons – Includes DVD “4 Dances 4 Him” - $200.00 The Advanced level is all about producing a dance ministry piece. It includes accompaniment selection, choreography, garment choice, teaching and presentation of a piece with 3-6 dancers.
